About us

The Pinasol Foundation was established on the 15th day of April, in the year of our Lord, 2011. Our headquarters is located in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region of the Republic of Ghana. We established the Foundation to develop a more organized way of providing assistance to the less privileged who regularly sought help from Reverend Solomon Okyere Asiamah and his wife.

The Foundation is a humanitarian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. We serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. We are a non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational, non-socioeconomic and a non-profit organization. Our primary goal is to uplift the standard of living for the marginalized, vulnerable and disadvantaged people of Ghana, both spiritually and physically.

To us, it is an injustice for a segment of society to be hopelessly entrenched in poverty, Assisting children obtain an education and providing adults with a more reliable means of sustaining their families have been paramount among our priorities. Beginning in 2011, we started assisting with school fees. In 2012, we began providing start-up capital to disadvantaged people who wanted to start small businesses. Then in 2013, we began donating exercise books to school children in poor communities.

Our focus is to help break the chain of poverty that continuous to enslave these people. Our board members all come from humble beginnings and have experienced the unfortunate life situations that poverty produces. We empathize with the plight and hopelessness of the underprivileged in our society and intend to break this cycle by helping the youth. That is the reason we seek support from charitable individuals and organizations to help us meet our objectives.

We decided to form a Ghanaian Corporation after recognizing the need to expand our services beyond our immediate district and region. This was completed and a Certificate of Incorporation was issued to us on August 23, 2013. Then, we obtained our Certificate to Commence Business for the entire country of Ghana on August 26, 2013.

Uplift the standard of living for the marginalized, vulnerable and disadvantaged people both spiritually and physically.
