Randall K Boyd, 76, Born December 17th 1946 from Bristol Virginia, USA became a member of Pinasol foundation in 2013 after I have shared my vision with him to support the needy in my community. In 2011, I visited him in his residence at Kwabigya in Accra when he came to Ghana, and promised to support with administrative work for Pinasol and encouraged me to register the organization at the registrar general department. In August 2013, Pinasol was incorporated in Ghana at Registrar General Department to commence work.
Randy provided the information and personally designed our first website www.pinasol.org to go live. As a newly registered organization, he continually provided coaching and mentorship to help us to maintain good practices. He designed many interesting fliers which supported our quest for fund raising. He further created payment integration at paypal to receive donations and remittances on behalf of Pinasol Foundation. He was the USA coordinator and the account holder of our paypal system. Randy became a bridge upon which we crossed to become who we are today.
In 2021, he re-visited our project in Ghana to be sure we are doing well as a young organization.
Randy Boyd will be missed for his financial support, humous, jokes, passion, compassion, dedication and love for humanity. On behalf of the Pinasol Foundation Fraternity, we celebrate the live of a champion, motivator, encourager, hard worker and a skilled professional. He passed suddenly in the early hours of Tuesday, January 3rd. We say good bye till we meet again.
