RENEWABLE ENERGY PROGRAM
Empowering Communities Through Sustainability
Our Renewable Energy Program empowers Ghanaian farming and rural communities with clean, off-grid energy solutions. Pinasol leverages solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, biogas digesters, and other renewable approaches to increase agricultural productivity, water access, and livelihoods. By integrating solar panels and pumps in villages and farms, we enable year-round irrigation and electrification. These efforts align with Ghana’s national strategy to achieve energy security, affordability, and sustainability through renewables.
Solar PV installation, maintenance, and entrepreneurship.
We train young people to install and maintain solar systems while helping them build the business skills to run their own renewable energy ventures confidently.
Climate-smart agricultural techniques powered by renewable energy.
We help farmers use solar energy and modern farming methods to grow more food sustainably. It’s clean, smart, and designed to make farming easier and more productive.
Solar irrigation system setup and management for smallholder farmers.
Farmers learn how to install, operate, and manage solar-powered irrigation systems—making dry-season farming easier, increasing yields, and reducing dependence on erratic rainfall.
